How should I ensure my data is safe before collection?
Before dropping off a device, make sure to sign out of all accounts, remove the SIM card, and factory reset the device.Factory reset instructions for:Apple DevicesGoogle PixelsSamsung GalaxyAdditionally, devices can be brought to third-party services like Click Away to have them factory reset the device.
Where do the batteries go after collection?
If your state is an EPR state, you can directly send the batteries to The Battery Network. The Battery Network then sends the batteries to be sorted and recycled.
What if my state is not an EPR state?
If your state is not an EPR state, please petition for state legislatures to enact EPR legislation! For more information go to our page on EPR laws.If you want to hold a battery collection event, fill out this form, and we'll follow up with more information.
